- в ходе устного слушания первоначальная часть выступления представителя, в которой излагаются основные аргументы позиции стороны, которую он представляет. Иногда заменяется skeleton argument или опускается для того, чтобы в рамках отводимого для выступления времени сосредоточиться на наиболее спорных и сложных аспектах дела.
